Robert van der Velden is President of FWI. He has worked for the last 25 years in sales of consumer electronics goods in Latin America developing new markets and growth strategies for the region. He has excellent relations in most of the major retail and wholesale distributors in the region. Recently, he developed new relations with the Far East, both with clients and suppliers. At FWI, he opened the company at the start, and is involved in consumer electronics, moving such items such as white goods and brown goods. FWI helps clients in the region get  products from China due to the vast experience they have working in the area.

Recently he also entered in the Protective security business and the disposable consumer business working in the same region as above. He provides products as gloves, helmets, eye goggles and others for all types of business in the region. Same as above, moves from China to the region and from the USA to the region.

Prior, Robert worked for Philips Electronics, where he was in charge of the distribution of products for Central America, The Caribbean and Colombia. He was in charge of the Panama office, a regional office for the northern Latin American region. Robert also developed several commercial and sales strategies, which proved to be very successful for the company.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management from Webster University, and is a Member of the Chamber of Commerce in Panama. He resides in Panama City, Panama.
