Rabih Nehme is a successful executive with an entrepreneurial spirit and hands-on approach. He has acquired his management skills through 20 years of international experience in P&L management, team leading, operations management and project management. Rabih’s focus has been in Business to Business industrial ventures and his areas of expertise amongst others include new markets development; start-ups and industrial distribution.

For the past two years, Rabih has served as TE Connectivity Channel (Distribution) Director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). As such, his key responsibilities involve managing a portfolio of 600 million US dollars, leading a European team of 70 people (with more than 20 different nationalities) and maximizing revenue shares for 400,000 (large and small) customers. Rabih runs a network of 40 distributors ranging from global to regional to local set-ups. 

In his prior role, Rabih was in charge of emerging markets which included the Baltic States, Eastern Europe, Russia, Turkey, Middle East and Africa. This comprised a portfolio of 170 million US dollars and leading a team of 30 people. During his tenure, he established and implemented a growth strategy through segmenting the markets, reviewing the coverage in each of the market and developing local talents. As a result, the business grew by 16% year-on-year for five years.

Rabih graduated with a Master's in Engineering from McGill University in 1995, and with an MBA from INSEAD in Paris in 1999. Originally, he was inspired to attend McGill, as it is one of the best schools for chemical engineering, and this has set the foundation for his diverse career experiences ranging from paper making, to chemicals and plastics, to machinery equipment and now electronics.

Furthermore, Rabih has tremendous international experience, having lived, studied and worked in different countries on three continents. 

Rabih would like to reconnect with Mc Gill and Insead alumni. He is actively seeking to meet new people and take on more challenges that will grow him professionally and personally. This can include a bigger role with more responsibilities or even setting up his own business.

On a personal level, Rabih enjoys reading history and spending time with his family. He currently resides in Lebanon.
