Biography

Rabih Nehme is a successful executive with over 20 years of international experience in management of operations as well as sales and marketing. For the past two years, he has served as EMEA Channel Director for TE Connectivity. In his prior role at TE Connectivity, Rabih was in charge of Emerging Markets in Europe. His key responsibilities in his current role involve overseeing distribution in more than 40 countries, leading a team of 70 people and maximizing services for 400,000 customers. His area of expertise is in general management including sales and marketing, operations, and project management. Rabih graduated with a Master's in Engineering from McGill University in 1995, and with an MBA from INSEAD in Paris in 1999. Originally, he was inspired to attend McGill, as it is one of the best schools for Engineering, and Chemical Engineering has set the foundation for his diverse career experiences. Indeed, Rabih has tremendous international experience; having lived or worked in more than 4 countries, and been exposed to diverse industries, starting in chemicals, then paper and plastics, and now electronics. Going forward, he wants to ensure that he continues to grow in his current role and eventually would like to set up his own business, parlaying all of his skills and experiences into more ventures and adventures. In addition, Rabih is keen to connect with people of different culture and background. As he has been out of the McGill Network for a long time, he would like to reconnect with other alumni of this great school. Rabih has had a rich and successful career that he would like to share with others while he continues learning and discovering. The key to his success is a good education, using his analytic skills he acquired to deal through complex situations and data to find solutions, good communication, and willingness to learn from mistakes. When he's not working, Rabih enjoys reading and spending time with his family, especially because he travels a lot for work.
