Laurence E. Williams is a Direct Service Worker for the Consumer Direct Care Network, a support organization for people receiving personal assistance services, that is specialized in the intricate soc private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid. With over 40 years of progressive personnel management, supervision and leadership experience, and more than four decades of military and public service, Laurence is a highly esteemed community leader, investigator and administrator. For Consumer Direct Care, Laurence offers adult companion care and homemaker services, as well as personal care services for handicapped.

Prior to joining his current company, Laurence retired from his role as a Supervisory Police Officer for the Pentagon Force Protection Agency. He spent the better part of a decade as a Federal Police Officer at the Pentagon Police Directorate, where he was primarily responsible for myriad security functions at the Pentagon and for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Armed Forces.

Laurence enjoyed a decorated career in the military, where he retired as a Command Sergeant Major after 23 years in the Army. While serving as a drill sergeant, he earned an associates degree in Police Administration from Eastern Kentucky University. After he returned to civilian life, and while serving as a Patrol Sergeant with the Savannah, Georgia Police Department, Laurence went on to complete his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Armstrong Atlantic State University. Today, he resides in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

His specialties and certifications are vast, and include a Certificate of Public Management from the University of Georgia Carl Vinson Institute of Government and Georgia Center for Continuing Education, as well as Field Training Officer certification. He also completed his Instructor Certificate, and SWAT Certification for the GA Peace Officer Standards and Training Council.

Laurence credits his success to perseverance and hard work. He was inspired to follow a criminal justice and law enforcement career path through observing family members who served in the military. With a lifelong commitment to service and model citizenship, he continues to exemplify the Eagle Scout qualities that he earned in his younger years.
