Worldwide Association of Notable Alumni Recognizes Maurice A. White
Maurice A. White is a senior engineering professional with more than two decades of project management, communications and information technology systems experience. Most recently, he served at General Dynamics Information Technology, an enterprise solutions and security firm that provides commercial, civilian and government agencies with logistical, supply chain, cyber security and information systems. Offering comprehensive support at the inception and development stage, or midstream project management guidance and expertise, the firm has been a trusted partner for businesses large and small, endeavoring on some of the most state-of-the-art technology, policy and healthcare advances today.
Based out of Pearland Texas, Maurice served in the Middle East, where he was responsible for the structured cabling of military communications systems. In addition to his engineering career, he is no stranger to military operations or action. With more than 20 years of service to his country in the United States National Guard, Maurice has served in both California and Texas, where he was in charge of military communications, being an instructor, and served the honor of being Team Chief.
Maurice began his studies in Industrial Engineering at San Francisco State University, and will complete a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University later this year. He credits much of his success to his core value of putting service first, and has taken much strength from the support of his wife.
In his spare time Maurice keeps active with sports, enjoying basketball and baseball.
