Jose Ruiz graduated in 2002 from the Michigan State University with a BA in Business Administration, where he belonged to the Theta delta Chi. He soon became the Panama Ambassador to Singapore at age 29 for 5 years. He was also the Dean of Ambassadors. After he moved on to start a few companies of his own including Global Marine Safety Latin America. Here, he began working in the maritime area of expertise.

Jose’s companies perform inspections and safety checks of vessels traveling through the Panama Canal. He works on an international level consulting with his clients on an individual basis. He looks forward to the continued growth of his business, particularly on an international level.

In his spare time he enjoys golfing, skiing and basketball. He also likes to donate to local charities near his home in Panama.
