Dr. José Luciano Andriguetto was the CEO at Nuvital Nutrientes S.A. and a he is a professor, teaching courses in veterinary medicine and animal science at the Federal University of Paraná, in Brazil. Originally drawn to this field while pursuing his bachelor’s degree, he is an accomplished educator and veterinary consultant with more than 20 years of experience in his field.

Additionally, he is the owner of Ithaca Feed Solutions, whose mission is to help foreign companies enter the Latin American feed market while simultaneously providing support in identifying the right partner(s) in each country, getting products registered, performing university and field trials, conducting commercial team training in English, Portuguese and Spanish, and facilitating introduction to key clients. He wants to gain further international exposure and provide profitable support to colleagues willing to act in the Latin American market.

After earning a Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Medicine from Universidade Federal do Paraná with honors and in the top 10 percent of his class, earning two medals, he went on to complete a Master of Science in Veterinary Medicine from the same University. He then went on to attend Cornell University Graduate School, where he completed a PhD in Animal Science.

And he recently completed a one-week training course at Singularity University, in Palo Alto, California, focusing on how recent technological advances will completely disrupt many of the productive activities of today’s industries.

José excels in leadership, managing conflict, communication and collaboration, empowering people to encourage responsibility through openness. He credits his success to the ability to apply his education and experience in the most effective way, by bringing people together. He has authored a number of publications and is a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO).

José fluently speaks English, Portuguese and Spanish. He currently resides in Curitiba, Brazil.
