Worldwide Association of Notable Alumni Recognizes Alan Lighty
Alan Lighty is a composer and musician based in New York City. As the head of the studio Mirror Reproductions he has been Bringing music to the tri-state area and beyond for more than 40 years. He is best known for country blues, and primarily works as a solo artist.
After earning a Master of Music Composition from Yale University, Alan worked to produce many musical shows and events in the 1980’s at local Schools. He is a seasoned public speaker and found the opportunity to grow his business as a musician and educator, a natural progression throughout his career.
Highly proficient in music education as well, Alan is passionate about passing on the principles and techniques along with helping young musicians get their start. His publications including music and music education, as well as the compositions he has produced. Alan now resides in Westchester, New York, where he continues to record and produce new compositions, as well as educate and connect with aspiring new musicians of all ages.
