Abigail Fernandes is a Medical Scientist and Quality Manager for the Emirates Group Medical Services Laboratory, a subsidiary of The Emirates Group and the largest airline in the Middle East. With over 17 years of experience in the Medical Laboratory, Quality Control and Healthcare Administrative sector, in her role Abigail works in the laboratory to ensure compliance to local and international regulatory and quality standards.  

With a Master in Healthcare Administration from Walden University in the United States, an ISO 15189 certified Auditor and a Member of the Australian Institute of Medical Scientists, Abigail resides in Dubai with her husband and 2 children. She credits her success to determination, perseverance, and an openness to keep growing, learning, and improving as her career progresses.
