Thomas Gutteridge, Senior Vice Provost and Interim Dean The University of Toledo, has been in several dean positions over the years. Approaching retirement, he has mentored and helping to advance people's lives for many years—work that gives him great pride.

Thomas received a Doctor of Philosophy in Industrial Administration from Purdue University’s Krannert School of Management, a Masters degree in Industrial Administration from Krannert/Purdue, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from the General Motors Institute. He will be retiring soon at the age of 73 to a beautiful spot in Illinois, but will continue to mentor and shape the lives of future businessmen and women. His extensive career as educator, mentor, advisor and Dean has made an impact on students and the universities in which he has worked.

Thomas' legacy and influence will continue on with the policies and changes he made while employed at these high learning institutions. Until he turns his sights southwest, he lives in Holland, Ohio.
