Steven E.  Sullivan is the President of Sullivan Resource Management. Sullivan Resource Management (SRM) is a strategic team of specialists focused on public and private companies with $100,000,000 in revenue or less.  SRM provides C-level strategic and financial guidance to companies while assisting them through significant operational and financial challenges, by facilitating the path to new markets, overcoming significant business obstacles, with an emphasis on business value creation.  Prior to SRM, Steven was also the founder and Chief Executive of Sullivan International, a $50M organization that initially provided outsourcing services in auditing and training, and eventually higher-end environmental remediation and consulting services, employing and subcontracting over 1,000 professionals to deal with complex environmental, construction, science and technology program challenges. This included developing and deploying a high performance, data-driven strategic business intelligence process, that enabled successful completion of multiple federal and commercial mergers and acquisitions (M&A), expanding the firm’s geographical footprint, product and service offerings, executive and technical bench strength, and top-line revenue performance and profitability.

After earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Educational Design and Development from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale, Steven went on to complete a Master of Business Administration in International Business from The Manchester Business School, Manchester England. He served in the United States Naval Submarine Service for over 15 years, where he progressed from being a Supply Logistics Technician on the USS La Jolla, a Los Angeles Class, Fast Attack Submarine, to becoming an Environmental and Logistics Officer for the Expeditionary Warfare Training Group.

Steven credits much of his success to the discipline and leadership skills he honed in the Navy, as well as discovering his passion for entrepreneurial pursuits and success. In his over 30 years of providing business insight and innovation to small and medium-sized companies, he has become a highly sought after speaker at industry conferences and seminars. He has also been recognized with numerous awards, including Veteran Champion of The Year 2012 by the Small Business Administration and CEO of The Year 2011 by the San Diego Business Journal. He was also recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow Awardee by the San Diego Rotary and received recognition in Fortune magazine as a Fortune Small Business "Boss of The Year" Finalist.

A resident of San Diego California and Minneapolis Minnesota, Steven is highly active in the community. He spent 4 years as the President and Club Commodore of the Gull Lake Yacht Club, and 3 years as Founder and Chairman of The Board for the Sullivan Children's Foundation, dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for children throughout San Diego County, neighboring communities and Baja, California.

When not working, Steven enjoys time with family, skiing, sailing and donating to disabled veteran non-profit organizations.
