Shannon Coomes is President of Hill Fire Protection, a role she stepped into October 2014. Prior to this, she served as the General Manager for the company.  She specializes in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire sprinkler systems throughout the Chicagoland area. Shannon oversees engineers in house design who are working to build and install fire sprinklers for commercial buildings in the Chicago area.

Shannon was the Co-Chair of Girls in the Game Field of Dreams Anniversary Gala, a charity she’s been involved with since 2013.  She was recently named ENR Midwest “Top 20 under 40” in 2015 and she has done presentations to colleges and professionals on fire protection and success in the construction business. Shannon earned her Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. Shannon is a Member of the National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA), and is currently certified under the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET).

In her time away from work, Shannon enjoys a round of golf, skiing, and playing sand volleyball. She lives in Elmhurst, Illinois.
