Scott G. Waldman is a syndicate equity trader and the founder and sole proprietor of Wald Capital LLC based in Nassau County, New York. Wald Capital has specialized in syndicate equity trading for the past 5 years. The company focuses in newly issued stocks and bonds with clientele at all major underwriting firms. Scott has over thirty years of experience working in the financial services industry. Prior to opening his own firm, he worked on the New York Mercantile Exchange as a commodities trader, specifically in energy future trading.  Following in the footsteps of his father, who had a successful trading career on the exchange himself, Scott worked his was way up to eventually become senior partner of Tradition Financial Services (TFS) Energy. Scott’s ability to maintain a calm demeanor and keen sense of logic, even in a high-stress environment such as the floor, led to his success. His impeccable emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills have fostered his lasting relationships that have followed him into the next phase of his career. When asked about his greatest professional accomplishments Scott is most proud of having mentored fifty to hundred employees, many of whom were able to further their career aspirations as a result. Scott continues his involvement in his alumni network Texas-Exes from the University of Texas at Austin, as well the UT lacrosse team. He also served as board member of Tuesday’s Children for thirteen years, which serves the children and families of the victims of September 11^th.
