Rui Villela Ferreira serves as the Latin America Engineering Services Director for Agilent Technologies Brasil Ltda, the Brazilian arm of international laboratory and chemical research and development pioneer Agilent Technologies. With nearly 30 years of experience in engineering and project management implementation, Rui is an expert in OSS solutions for telecommunications and in the calibration and repair of electronic instruments and has been in his role for over 16 years.

 After completing a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from ITA, Rui went on to complete a Master of Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh. Prior to joining Agilent Technologies, Rui spent 12 years as an Application Engineering Manager for Hewlett-Packard Brasil Ltda.

 Rui resides in São Paulo, Brazil and speaks Portuguese, English and Spanish. Keen to give back and with an eye on the big picture, he supports the organization Abrinq, focusing on reducing illegal child labor and raising awareness in campaigns with UNICEF and the International Labour Organization. Ever active, in his spare time he enjoys biking and is an avid reader.
