Worldwide Association of Notable Alumni Recognizes Ramiro Molina
Ramiro Molina is a retired business professional of Johnson & Johnson and the current General Manager of LSS Professionals. He is a certified Master Black Belt in Six Sigma (SS), Lean Six Sigma (LSS), and Design for Lean Six Sigma (DfLSS), lean assessor and professional trainer and coach in business process improvement.
Fluent in Spanish and English, Ramiro earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas, and his Master of Science in Statistical Process Control and Information Technology from ACCC and Universidad ICESI in Colombia.
After his 34 years of work as an executive in Ecopetrol (Colombian Petroleum Company), Celanese and Johnson & Johnson, Ramiro has conducted the training of executives in SS and Lean methodologies at the top level of leading pharmaceutical and healthcare companies in the United States and various countries of Latin America and the Caribbean. Other companies included in his endeavor incorporate their logistics, marketing, sales, administrative and transactional operations.
He has accompanied the deployment of the business improvement process to other levels of the entire supply chain. One particular project that he coached, from a Central American Country, received the first gold distinction awarded at corporate level in Europe.
Ramiro trained key personnel and accompanied the implementation of Kaizen-Kanban systems for a key agribusiness company in Colombia and several other transactional organizations.
In addition to these accomplishments, he has conducted Black Belt training of executives in LSS at the top level of Ecuador’s Presidency in Quito, Ecuador, at various levels of a prestigious brewery and a recognized candy manufacturer in Colombia, and to a mining company in Chile. He also lead training for a renowned perfume and fragrances company in North and Latin America, and to leading companies in the plastics manufacturing and printing sectors of industry.
Ramiro enjoys his work in bettering organizations and their workforces and is proud of his work thus far. A key to his success has been his dedication and the opportunity to be on the Board of Directors at Celanese and Johnson & Johnson Colombia. Now that he is retired, his focus on his present position at LSS Professionals allows him to make proposals, coach, train and get valuable leads for business solutions. Due to his authority and knowledge, he hopes to be recognized in Colombia as one of the persons who contributed to the better of workforce in the community. Ramiro takes great pride in the results he has obtained from his work so far.
He and his wife are currently giving support to a group of girls in Cali, Colombia, to pay their tuition and school expenses so that they can study and they will continue to support them from now through to their college years. In his spare time, he enjoys walking, jogging, reading, attending webinars and watching American football.
