Worldwide Association of Notable Alumni Recognizes Paul E. Zorsky, MD, MS
Doctor Paul E. Zorsky has been the Director of Clinical Research at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Maryland and functions as a practicing physician. In addition to providing direct patient care, Dr. Zorsky oversees the hospital’s community-based research program. Given such responsibilities and a long-standing interest in research, his ultimate ambition is to develop improved methods to optimize testing and diagnosis. The goal is to maximize the information for each test performed, reduce the number of tests, and decrease the time to the correct diagnosis. This has important financial and patient care implications. Dr. Zorsky started out in chemical engineering with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Connecticut, from which he also received his Master in Biochemistry. He later earned his medical degree from the institution’s School of Medicine. He is a Distinguished Member of the American Society of Hematology. Dr. Zorsky also belongs to the American Society for Clinical Oncology and the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers.
