Luc P. Delafosse is an international hotelier with hospitality in his bones and the mind of an entrepreneur. Currently the Managing Director of iconic luxury provider Waldorf Astoria Hotels and Resorts, he is one of the chief visionaries making the celebrated Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills, to open in 2017, rise from the ground up. With over 25 years of experience in international hotel and hospitality management, Luc is a master of event planning, guest service management, and pre-opening leadership.
After completing his studies at the Ecole Hôtelière Poligny, Luc became a well-recognized hotelier in his native France. Prior to joining Waldorf Astoria, he managed some of the most exclusive properties across the globe, including the Hotel de Crillon, Rosewood Hotel, the Ritz London, and Burj Al Arab Jumeirah Group / Jumeirah Hotels & Resorts. Furthering his studies, Luc earned his GMP from Cornell University in 2014.
Today Luc resides in Los Angeles, California. Passionate about his industry, he is active in his community and seeks opportunities for pro bono based consulting and mentorship. Luc speaks fluent English and French, and in his spare time enjoys traveling the world and swimming.
