Linda Jakab is the Chief Executive Officer of Field, a learning and development organization. Field is helping the learning, development, and management training of Victoria's community services sector for the disability and aged care workforce. Field provides leadership and management development programs, accredited courses and short course programs across the sector. Field has now merged with Independence Australia to provide a whole of service career development program for the community services sector.

With more than 25 years in the Corporate Sector, Linda’s expertise includes senior executive roles in business transformation, management consulting, and working with state government authorities. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts with Honors in English and Philosophy from the Australian National University and studied for a Masters of Arts in Renaissance Drama at the University of Adelaide. Linda was an academic and senior administrator in tertiary education for a number of years before entering the corporate world.

Before moving back to the community services sector, Linda made significant changes at ING Australia as General Manager of Strategic Change.  She designed a large-scale strategic change program , embedded culture change programs including learning and development programs for executives and senior leaders. At Barings in London, Linda managed a key implementation of CRM as well as Barings’ integration into the ING worldwide group. Returning to Australia, Linda has consulted widely with large scale Telco’s, Banking, Universities and Government Departments on key aspects of business transformation.

Linda speaks French and is studying Spanish. She is a lover of cultural arts, opera and piano. She is also a sports enthusiast, and particularly enjoys tennis and soccer. She is affiliated with the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Community Aged Care Support, and was formerly a tutor for deaf children in drama. She resides in Northcote Victoria, Australia.
