Johann Botha is CEO of getITright® an education and management skills development company focusing on IT professionals. Johann has spent the last fifteen years as a management best practice coach, trainer and consultant. Working in many industries and countries Johann has helped organizations of all sizes and permutations to unlock value from their IT investments and use IT as a competitive advantage. He is actively involved in the development of IT management practice frameworks and standard development and is an accredited trainer and coach for many of frameworks.

getITright® has found that many managers and executives have great difficulty evaluating the return on investment of their people development initiatives. The reason is learning that is purely classroom based is often not put into practice – therefore - it makes no meaningful difference in the workplace and as a result no ROI is realized.

Johann studied electronics, social and management sciences. Some of his passions include learning, teaching, reading, spending time in nature and writing. He holds an MBA, is a Chartered IT Professional (MBSC-CITP) and a Fellow of the priSM institute (FSM), A Lean/Agile/DevOps Master Black-belt (LMBB) and a CGEIT.

His company have developed and also licensed training material for use by training organizations internationally. Some of these products include ITIL®, PRINCE2®, SDI®, Lean Six Sigma, Agile/Scrum, Lean IT. Cyber Security & ISO courses.

In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family and dogs. He resides in South Africa.
