Jeff Mount is the Regional Vice President, New England Division, of Advisors Capital Management, one of the nation’s leading portfolio and asset management companies. Having joined Advisor’s Capital Management at the start of 2015, Jeff brings with him over 17 years of fiscal and executive management and specializes in wholesale sales, B2B transactions and consulting with financial advisors, as well as investment coaching, development, management and analysis. Known for his strong leadership and diverse skill set, Jeff ensures that both clients and the firm’s partnership of advisors receive the securities, tax management and customized financial analysis that has made Advisors one of the nation’s most trusted firms today.

After graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Ferris State University, Jeff specialized and pursued his first great passion: tennis. He spent the next 5 years serving up success on the tennis court as a tennis pro and a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional at private country clubs. Known for his innate ability to overcome adversity and maximize the silver lining, upon suffering a serious knee injury, Jeff discovered his love for the marketing and sales side of the industry when he began working in wholesales and investments.

Taking his newfound inspiration and pairing it with his signature drive led Jeff to quickly rise up the ranks in the business and financial fields. Prior to joining Advisors Capital Management, he served as the Regional Vice President for Putnam Allstate, where he received the Wholesaler of the Year and National Leadership awards, and as an External Wholesaler for Curian Capital, where he was awarded Innovator of the Year and a repeat honoree into the Century Club.

Jeff attributes his success to a combination of a deep understanding of the sales process and his ability to do public speaking.  Frequently called upon to speak at conferences and other key engagements, he is also a prolific writer and frequently publishes industry articles on LinkedIn.  

Jeff resides in Fairfield, Connecticut, and is known for endeavoring to strike the perfect balance between his busy business affairs and remaining active and present in his home life. A pillar of his community, Jeff served as a board member for the Greater Bridgeport Junior Achievement from 2011 to 2013. In his spare time, he is an avid fly fisherman, and travels the country to discover and appreciate the country’s best fishing spots.
