George Jones is the President of Pathion Inc, a battery resources and product company. Overseeing all aspects of the company, he leads development, operations, marketing, sales and finance for the company. George also guides Pathion through the acquisition and licensing of energetic materials and products that keep the company at the forefront of technology in energy storage. Recently, Pathion announced the acquisition of Spider9, an advanced Energy Storage Systems Company, a deal that was led by George.

After completing a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at Georgia Tech, George went on to earn an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School. He has been either a founder or starting partner of 5 startups, to date, all with positivie exits. Prior to his work with Pathion, George was the Vice President and General Manager of AppliedMicro's Connectivity Products (featuring telecom and datacom interface chips), where he helped grow revenue by 10% per quarter in 2012 and 2013 to exceed $100M. George also serves on the Board of Directors of the Sand Hill Angels, a top 10 angel investment group in the United States. He is a founding member of the group.

George lives in Monte Sereno, California, where he keeps his finger on the pulse of Silicon Valley developments. He attributed his success to a strong ability to focus and understand the importance of clear, effective communication.
