Dr. Folorunso Akintan is the Executive Director and Owner of A-Kins Analysts and Project Managers (www.a-kins-analysts.com). She has twenty years’ experience in Health Care and fifteen years in Community/Public Health practice. As a health analyst, she is a natural leader, with research bases in public health, maternal and child health, health care impact assessments and Health Care Economics. As Executive Director, she is responsible for all dealings of the Professional Health Care Consulting Business, including Contract Procurement, Grant Writing, Strategic Planning, Monitoring, Evaluating, and Reporting. She is a physician by training with a background in general practice and postdoctoral training in Public Health and Business Administration Finance.  She has a history of successful grant acquisition from various funding agencies as principal investigator/co-investigator of up to thirty health care projects while running the Rocky Mountain Tribal Epidemiology Center, in Montana.

Folorunso is an annual public speaker and teacher focusing on public health and maternal and child health topics. She collaborates with World Congress on Public Health and American Journal of Public Health as a member of the review team. She currently has a Master in Public Health from Tulane University, and is currently wrapping up her Master in Business Administration -MBA, also from Tulane University, and is set to graduate in May 2016. It goes without saying that she is highly motivated individual, and Folorunso has an innate passion for helping people. She is especially drawn towards work that benefits woman and children. With a vision for the future, she sees herself expanding the business and continuing to grow her company in order to assist more people throughout the world who are in need.

She holds a Professional Doctorate in Medicine and Surgery, from University of Lagos, in Africa; a Master of Public Health from Tulane School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She is a Member of the Association of Woman Business Owners, and resides in Texas.
