Dr. Steven Miller is a data scientist who consults for Innosource and Anamind.  He is also an Adjunct Professor of Mathematics and Statistics at Herzing Univeristy, and his passion for education compels him to continue mentoring emerging professionals in the field of mathematical modeling.  While at the Goodyear Rubber & Tire Company, Dr. Miller created millions of dollars in savings during the Great Recession of 2008 by using his expertise in demand forecasting to build a statistical model that optimized inventory control and reduced forecast error from 65% to 35%.

Dr. Miller received his Doctorate in Theology from Andersonville Theological Seminary.  He was Valedictorian of his class at the University of Akron, and was later awarded the institution’s Teacher of the Year honors by its Evening College.  An avid daily runner who estimates having accumulated over thirty thousand miles on his legs, Dr. Miller is proud of having taken only one sick day throughout a forty-year career.  He is also a black belt in tae kwon do.  The majority of his spare time is spent with his church, where he has served as Youth Minister, Sunday School teacher, a board member, and has chaired the Pastor-Parish Relations Committee multiple times.
