Worldwide Association of Notable Alumni Recognizes Dr. Mark Rogers
Distinguished Executive, Clinical-Forensic Psychologist, and Idea Ambassador, Dr. Mark Rogers is the Founder and CEO of Insights Without Borders (IWB), LLC.
IWB (insightswb.com) is a global management consultancy firm with a boutique approach that focuses on partnering and collaborating with clients and their organizations on their development of roadmaps and own set of rules for achieving agility, adaptability and flourishing in Our Global Village; uncovering “authenticity” and “brilliance” within all their stakeholders; and nurturing personal change that fills the heart of collective organizational change for transforming their business narratives from “merely interesting” to “truly world-changing.”
Dr. Rogers passion is to help clients transform stagnant and siloed organizations into cohesive, agile and adaptable ones; including process architecture, value chains, management systems and human performance improvement that create “sustainable” organizations that put “people first” so that they can collectively create “authentically” best places to work. He uses action learning approaches with executive coaching; guiding demand planning and capability; instructional systems design to solve “real problems” not more of “rearranging deck chairs on the titanic.”
After earning a Bachelor of Education in Comparative Literature from the University of Toledo, he went on to complete a Master of Science in Instructional Systems Design/Instructional Design from the University of Oregon. Later earning a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, he also completed his Psychology Doctorate (Psy.D.) from the School. A key differentiator for Dr. Rogers is his deep practical understanding of the human psychology of change and organizations having problems around recent transitions in comparison to learning management in MBA programs by “remote control,” learning to read case studies, and sit in classrooms and pronounce judgments on companies about which they know almost nothing about.
Prior to starting IWB, Dr. Rogers has a 30+ year career in diagnosing unique business challenges involving human capital, leadership, critical thinking, cultural awareness and action learning — all vital parts to organization’s DNA. Clients have included BP and BMO Harris Bank. He served as a Senior Social Scientist (GS-14) in Afghanistan for the US Department of Defense focusing on counterinsurgency, sociocultural and human geography intelligence collections, cultural knowledge work products, cognitive battle space, and spheres of influence. He is a recipient of of the Global War on Terrorism Civilian Service Medal.
A natural-born teacher, Dr. Rogers served as Adjunct Faculty on the Psy.D. Clinical Psychology and M.A. Forensic Psychology Programs at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, where he was awarded Adjunct Faculty of the Year. He also has served as a clinical adjunct faculty member and an educator at other Chicago metro area college campuses. He attended the University of Oregon on a Graduate Teaching Fellowship (GTF). He has served on the Program and Awards Committees for the National Society for Performance and Instruction, and was a Finalist in the category for “Outstanding Article in Performance and Instruction.” Dr. Rogers has served on the Board of Directors of the Illinois Association for Parents and Children (IAPC).
In his free time, Dr. Rogers enjoys attending the symphony, appreciating and collecting abstract art and enjoying other rich cultural offerings in his home city of Houston. An Eagle Scout recipient, he continues to serve his community in a skills-based volunteer capacity, including as a coach in local youth sports leagues.
