Dr. Barkholt believes her success has come to her from having an unquenchable thirst to learn, and the benefit of living in an era where medical technology evolves so quickly. When she isn’t working to solve complex medical and medicinal problems relating to stem cell research or liver transplantation, Dr. Barkholt can be found enjoying classical music or hiking in the mountains.
