Mr. David J. Winter is a Michigan attorney whose work has been widely acclaimed throughout a 37-year career, including Super Lawyers and Top Consumer Attorneys in Michigan.  He has also been recognized by Best Lawyers in America and Best Attorneys in Michigan.  Mr. Winter is also President of the Detroit Metropolitan Bar Association.

Mr. Winter currently specializes in medical malpractice litigation, but has broad experience in many matters of the law, including arbitration and class-action lawsuits.  He graduated Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor in History and Political Science, and earned his law degree from Michigan State University’s College of Law. He spent over 30 years with Sommers-Schwartz, a well-respected litigation firm. Over the years, Mr. Winter has settled many claims in excess of $1,000,000.00.  In his spare time, David enjoys his family, strength and conditioning training, current events, reading and long distance cycling.
