Starting out as basic engineer, Chris rose through the ranks to project manager and hopes to continue to grow in the position of Director of projects. Prior to Siemens, Chris had the opportunity to be Systems Engineer at the Kennedy Space Center working on the Shuttle Program; he began his learning experience as a manager of an elite group of one-of-a-kind-technicians. The job required “hands-on” direction of the technicians that provided a strong foundation for problem resolution, communication, and cooperation for the most elite launch team in the world. During this period of his career, Chris wrote the first ever procedure to remove and replace thrusters on the Space Shuttle while it was at the launch pad. This experience provided the skills necessary to excel in the area of project management within the Siemens organization through great communication skills, providing a clear vision for the organizations goals and commitments. He is currently managing two contracts totaling $421 million for the supply of power island equipment for power plants in Virginia and Maryland.
Chris received his BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Maryland and is certified as a Senior Project Manager under the PM@Siemens Program.
