Alan Robinson is the Managing Director of Vet Dynamics UK Ltd.  As a Veterinary Surgeon with 25 years’ experience in small animals, equine and farm practice, he now has over 17 years as owner and managing director of Vet Dynamics, Ltd., a consulting company he founded after realizing the need for an integrated approach to management and leadership in the veterinary profession.

Vet Dynamics provides consultancy and business development for veterinarians by helping independent practice owners improve business performance, profitability, get more and better clients, build great teams and improve their time management.

Vet Dynamics have always been the champion for the Independent Veterinary Practice Owner faced with increasing competition, corporatization and commoditization. Through Vet Dynamics Practice Development Programs and the hugely successful Platinum Practice Academy and the annual Vet Dynamics Conference, Alan and his team have helped over 600 independent practice owners improve practice performance, improve patient care, improved client experience, greater team harmony and find more time to enjoy their practices and home lives. Alan also founded the Graduate Academy for newly qualified Veterinary Surgeons, and is looking to grow the Academy globally.

Highly specialized in veterinary consulting and strategic veterinary business, Alan has had great success in his profession, as a consultant, speaker and trainer. Alan has always loved animals and the veterinary profession and looks forward to continue developing his business which supports charities that help with educating African children, OXFAM (Oxford Committee for Famine relief) as well as animal charities in the UK and abroad.

Alan received a top-notch education to prepare him in the field. He holds a degree inVeterinary Science from the University of Queensland, as well as a Diploma in Marketing, Business Management and Related Support Services from Swindon College. He is affiliated and a regular speaker for the BVA (British Veterinary Association), SPVS (Society of Practicing Veterinary Surgeons), VPMA (Veterinary Practice Association), VMA (Veterinary Managers Association), BSAVA (British Small Animal Veterinary Association, and ILM (Institute of Leaders and Management). He was also recognized as International Marketer of the Year.

When he isn’t busy with consulting and leading the company, he enjoys spending time with his extended family, both human and four-legged. He resides in Cirencester, Gloucestershirehire, United Kingdom.

His current projects in the veterinary business market include veterinary business benchmarking, virtual seminars, CPD management and leadership workshops and developing an international profile for vets world-wide.
