Biography

Ramon Alberto Garza is a well seasoned journalist. He is a man who believes in innovation, hard work, and being ahead of the game. Ramon exemplifies what a true journalist is since he is always ahead of the trends. Ramon's ability to adapt to the changing times of journalism has lead to his long career in the field. Ramon always knew he was bound to be in the journalism world. He was the Editor-in-Chief of his high school's newspaper. His journey towards journalism continued at Monterrey Tech, where he received his Bachelor's in Journalism in 1976. He went on to work at a local newspaper after his degree; however, the publication sent him back to school at University of Texas at Austin. Ramon will finish his Master's in Journalism in the upcoming years. He also keeps in touch with his friends and professors at UTA as well. Ramon has over 43 years of experience in the journalism field. He has worked in publications such as Reforma and even launched 8 newspapers in Mexico. Ramon is also the former Vice President of Televista as well. Ramon is currently launching his own digital media company. Magenta Multimedia is a social media company that focusses on entertainment and informative news. He also runs Cyan Media Lab, which is a consulting firm for newspapers and social media companies.
