Biography

After serving his country tirelessly in the military for 28 years, Eric Cooper now serves his students as a part-time lecturer at his alma mater, University of Southern Caribbean. His passion for learning and teaching stems from his desire to give back and his firm belief that knowledge is to be shared. When he entered the military 28 years ago his aim was to serve as an example for other unemployed youth in his community that nothing was unobtainable with some hard work and dedication. Eric continues on his own continuous learning and improvement path as he is currently reading for his Doctorate in Business Administration. His aim once completed is to lecture full time. He plans to spend the rest of his career sharing and receiving as much knowledge as he can, as he focuses on the younger population in particular. He says the key to his own success has been hard work and it remains his advice to the younger population seeking to achieve their goals. To this end on of his proudest accomplishment was obtaining his Bachelors degree as a non-traditional student in his 30s. Eric looks forward to meeting as many members as he can and sharing knowledge, information and of course some good food.
