Biography

Carina Verdejo Lama is an accomplished operations management professional with over 15 years of experience in mining and metals, international business, import and export and marketing. Since 2004, she has served as Commercial Manager of INDEPP LTDA., a family business producing soldering and lead items. Indeed, INDEPP is a well-known brand in the Chilean market with a reputation for producing quality soldering solder, soldering pastes, and lead products. Carina's key responsibilities for the company include managing operations and staff, overseeing client relations, negotiations, and both local and international business. Her area of expertise is superior relations with clients, drivers and workers. Carina graduated with a Master of Marketing, Distribution and Consumption from University of Barcelona in 2002. She earned a Bachelor's in Public Relations at UNIACC (Universidad de Artes, Ciencias y Comunicación) in Chile, in 2000. Originally, Carina was inspired to pursue her Master's at University of Barcelona as she loves the city and their culture. She parlayed her educational background into her work for the family business and has thrived in her leadership role there ever since. The key to her success is hard work, dedication, passion for her industry, and commitment to improving their company. In 2003, INDEPP obtained ISO 9001-2000 Certification, which further guarantees the quality of its products, and further enhanced their reputation in the industry. When she's not working, Carina loves sports especially basketball and tennis. Her whole family plays tennis and she enjoys travel and the outdoors. She also supports orphan kids and babies through her company.
