Biography

Sandra Becerra has been in the Information, Research, and Records Management field for nearly years. She is an expert on Information Technology. She is currently the Transition Team Lead for Document Management at Ecopetral in Bogota, Colombia. She has been with the organization since 2008 starting out as The Coordinator of Document Management. She is an expert at the transformation of document processing and works at migration, analysis and transition to advanced technological innovation. She has had a vast history in network information systems for major corporations including Unilever which she worked as a Record Management Consultant for over 6 years. Her main strengths lie in Information Governance and Networking with Digital Systems. She is currently working on a Transition Process at Ecopetral working with integration of new processes in Third Party Billing, Contracts, Financials. Sandra is very well educated a Masters Degree in Documentation from The Polytechnic University of Catalonia, and a Bachelors Degree in Library Sciences from The Universidad de Pontificia. She has extensive post graduate Certifications from the prestigious MIT Sloan School of Management in such areas as Technology, Operations, Supply Chain, and has certifications in Paperless Information Quality and Record Management. Sandra has also worked in Research, Analytics, and Records Management and is a Member of The Colombia Association of Librarians and The American Records Management Association.
