Biography
Jim Brassell is a highly decorated and experienced air force militant. Jim received his Bachelors degree from Norwich University in Diplomacy in 2009 to further his knowledge about the air force. Prior to his time at Norwich, Jim studied at the Air Force Academy in 1992. Jim always had a passion for service and aviation; therefore, he took his passions to the academy. Jim has served for the Air Force for over 20 years. He has been apart of many missions that range all over the world including Singapore, Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Germany where he is currently stationed. In Singapore, Jim was the first international teacher that was qualified to educate over 400 students. Jim was apart of the mission in Kosovo back in 1999. Jim has been a crucial part of the aviation team that has been fighting terrorism in the Middle East. He was apart of the first launches against terrorism in 2002 in Iraq and in Afghanistan in 2006. Back in 2001, Jim was awarded the Jerome O'Malley award for the 9/11 mission where he served as the commander. Jim was award the Intel Contributor of the Year by the 55th Wing in 2002. In his free time, Jim likes to travel! Jim has traveled to over 50 countries and will be visiting Australia in January. He enjoys scuba diving at the tropical destinations as well.
