Adler is a dedicated, highly accomplished corporate and securities lawyer with tremendous experience representing issuers and investment banking firms in public and private securities offerings, as well as buyers, sellers and financial advisors in a variety of transactions involving public and private business combinations. For the past three and a half years, he has served as Partner at Newman & Morrison, LLP, a Wall Street corporate and securities law firm focused on helping international companies finance their growth through U.S. and global capital markets, as well as expanding into new market sectors in the U.S. through strategic acquisitions and joint ventures. Mr. Adler is a member of the American Bar Association and serves on the Board of Directors of the National Investment Banking Association, a not-for-profit corporation. Gerald received his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 1968, and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Louisiana State University in 1965. Originally, he always had the desire to practice law and prior to working in private practice, he served as an Assistant Attorney General of the State of New York in the Bureau of Securities and Real Estate Financing, and as Special Counsel to the New York Stock Exchange. Mr. Adler also served as Captain in the Judge Advocates General Corp in the United States Army Reserves. Overall, he believes the key to his success has been hands-on service to his clients, and with over 30 years of experience in securities law. Going forward, Mr. Adler is keen to network and reach out to others to do business together. Ultimately, he wants to continue working and helping his clients to achieve their goals.
