Biography

Yana Collins Lehman is the President and COO of Trevanna Post, Inc. She has been a post production accountant at Trevanna, working on feature films and television shows since 2004. Her responsibilities include the operations of both the NY and Los Angeles offices, and oversees a staff of 30. Yana earned her Masters in Arts Administration from Columbia University and her Bachelors in English Literature from the University of California, Santa Barbra. During grad school she worked at Independent Pictures for Cary Woods and Andrew Karpen and later worked at Sloss Law/Cinetic Media where she was a paralegal. Yana currently serves as chair of the Post New York Alliance, which successfully lobbied New York State to increase job opportunities in the NYS film industry by passing a 30% film and TV post production incentive. She has become an outspoken advocate of the NYS post production industry, making frequent trips around the state to educate businesses about tax incentives. Yana frequently speaks at City and State Universities on the topic of how to get a job in post production, letting students know about the existence of alternative careers in Entertainment. She has been working with the NYS film office on the Film Incentive program since 2010, and consults with film makers and financiers on tax incentives.
