BIOGRAPHY
Abdelhakeem Mohamed-Ahmed is the Director at Juniper Networks. He has been in this position for close to 3 years, but has been with Juniper Networks for 10. He has been in the telecommunications industry for 17 years, after starting as a geologist. In his current position, Hakeem oversees the clients and service delivery in the Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. Hakeem holds an MS in Telecommunication Engineering from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is currently working on a doctorate in Business Administration, which he expects to receive in 2019. For this degree, he is doing research around software and network design and how new technologies will affect service providers. He hopes to be known as an industry expert as the industry continues to shift. Hakeem states that having a balance between personal and professional life is a key to his success. He is happily married and is the father of 2 young girls. When he is not working, other than spending time with his family, Hakeem enjoys traveling and hiking. He is very involved in the Denver community and NPR.
