John Peters is the owner of the Institute for the Prevention of In-Custody Deaths since 2005. To date, the IPICD has trained over 10,000 individuals as instructors in this specialized topic, and has expanded its training programs in 2008 and again in 2009. The IPICD will be adding new programs in 2012 to better serve the law enforcement, EMS, and related communities and stakeholders. It all started when the interest of martial arts and the FBI because a collateral field and merged both together. The key to Dr. Peter’s success would definitely be his education and experience and never lose your faith, which means a lot to him. Having an extremely impressive educational background it didn't let him down a bit. In the future he would like to peruse a law degree. A highlight of his career would be saving the lives of others through this beneficial training program.

She then progressed to be Senior Advisor of the Quality Indicators Initiative, and eventually the Vice President of Performance Measures for the National Quality Forum, the first nurse to hold that position. As an expert in her field, Dr. Farquhar speaks in universities and conferences on the field of quality, performance measurement, nursing and public policy. Dr. Farquhar credits her success to her passion for helping people and the opportunity to be able to combine both her health care and business expertise in the most optimal way. In the future, Dr. Farquhar will be completing her six sigma certification which will further help URAC grow. In her free time Dr. Farquhar is an avid supporter of The Humane Society of the United States, the ASPCA, the Art League of Ocean City Center for the Arts and the Nature Conservancy. On September 1, 2014 The Board of Trustees at Southeastern Bible College elected Dr. Alexander Granados its next college President. His responsibilities also include data systems and quality assessments as well as analysis of gaps and investment needs in country data systems. Estifanos has so far contributed to 29 publications and he shares his vast knowledge of experience giving presentations and training regularly. He started at the Global Fund in 2009 as a Senior Epidemiologist and advanced to his current role in 2012. He is passionate and committed to finding solutions to offer better access to treatment and drugs and expand awareness in order to help fight diseases in communities and is optimistic about the opportunities presented by advancing technology.

Carolyn Lewis worked at San Jose State University for 29 years and retired in 2003 as the Senior Associate Athletic Director. Carolyn's career experience focused on overseeing internal operations of the Athletic Department and coaching various sports teams, including Field Hockey. Between 1976 and 1987, Carolyn consistently led and coached the San Jose State University Field Hockey team onto the nation's Top 10 list. During the same period, Carolyn also coached two Field Hockey team members to the National team level; served on the USA Field Hockey National Squad Coaching Staff; and was twice selected conference Coach of the Year. Carolyn also has strong public speaking skills and experience. She travels and hosts presentations for high school students regarding attending college and the acquisition of athletic scholarships. During her professional career she held many leadership positions including the United States Field Hockey Association Vice President for Administration, Interim Director of Athletics and President's Cabinet at San Jose State, and member of the NCAA Women's Gymnastics Committee. She was chair of the SJSU Gender Equity Committee and was instrumental in establishing the SJSU Gender Equity Plan and starting three new women's intercollegiate athletic teams (Soccer, water polo, and cross County. In retirement she has continued to stay involved in her local community through the following activities: Girls' Basketball Head Coach at Pacific Collegiate School (five years), Monterey High School Sports Professions and Recreation Careers Advisory Board, docent at Seacliff State Beach, SJSU Alumni Association Santa Cruz Area Chapter Board (current President), and Treasurer and Board member for Trout Gulch Mutual Water Company. Her hobbies include sailing, traveling and gardening. She represents the SJSU Alumni; by serving on the San Jose State University Alumni Association Board of Directors and raises scholarship money for Santa Cruz Area students to attend San Jose State University.
